Roaster's Comments: This blend is a collaboration with Samson's Snakeatorium, a father/son duo focusing on ball pythons and host of the podcast "What's in Your Cup". For the coffee itself, we chose to keep things simple and go with a Honduran bean that is one of our favorites at Cold Blooded Caffeine. This washed Honduran takes heat very well and allows us to go dark without becoming overly bitter. In order to add some additional nuance, we also included a small percentage of a Brazil Natural, which blends well with dark roast coffee. If a great cup of coffee wasn't enough, $1 of every bag of Samson's Roast will be donated to the United States Association of Reptile Keepers (USARK) to continue to promote captive breeding and education initiatives.
